The Calumet Chamber Musicians

a superb musical experience

During my time in Chicago and well into my years in Paris, the Calumet Chamber Musicians played a key role in my musical development. It was founded and led by John Wachala, a superb flutist and a constant source of musical knowledge and inspiration. The group provided a great opportunity for me to play a huge repertoire of chamber music and solo clarinet pieces. This allowed me to explore works ranging from Bach to contemporary pieces, some of which were even composed by members of the ensemble.

Here are some of the programs we played. Some of the flyers are tiny works of art designed by local artists.
